Automatically forward a chat as an email.

After a chat has been finished the chat will forwarded by email to the chatter. Purpose: chatter can re-read the chat and store it. The email should be generated automatically by Trengo. The email contains the chat and additional text; the emailaddress is provided by the chatter at the beginning of the chat. This procedure should be started by a simple click of the operator at the end of the chat.

  • Thanks for sharing Christ. At this point it is not possible to automate this in Trengo. But there is a possibility to manual forward a chat conversation, using the forward feature. 

    It could be a great feature to add to Trengo, but keep in mind that this feature is depending on whether a customer leaves their email address in a chat for it to work.

      Tamara Berner Thanks Tamara. We are already using the manual way. But as part of marketing automation it would be nice if it could be automated or initiated by clicking a button.

    • This feature will be implemented by making use of Rules. We will add the action "forward to contact" and the condition "Ticket status = closed"
