New and easier method of merging tickets

I'd love to have the functionality to merge tickets in exactly the same way as deleting multiple tickets at once.


Hovering over the icon so you can select the tickets > "with selected" > merge tickets. This makes total sense as you can search for a contact's name and usually end up with multiple tickets. Merging these tickets is a pain and should be done much easier.

  • Jordi Bouman Thank you for your feedback. From a technical standpoint, this way wouldn't work in many instances, for example when you would try to merge tickets from different channels or contacts. However, the way contacts and profiles work in Trengo gives you the ability to combine messages from multiple channels and contacts under one profile, and thus give you an overview of all the contact moments with that profile. You can read more about how profiles work here.

    If you still think there is another use case for being able to bulk merge tickets similarly as bulk deleting, then please do let me know :)

      Daniela Backman what would make things easier would be if Trengo recognized that a similar contact existed in the system either by last name, or same email address (i.g. chat and email contacts both provide an email address), attribute, etc. and then suggest associating multiple contacts to the same profile. Slightly different use case, but convenient all the same.
