
Telegram group chats supported by Trengo
Our company provides API service and on the integration stage, normally, our customers ask for collective chat, where it is possible to have conversation among few participants from the customer's side and few from our team (for instance: mangers, technical specialists and project coordinators). This safes plenty of time and let to store all information, history of the relationships in frames of one dialogue. Currently, we are forced to use other tools, which has bad influence on tracking of support's department load too.
Currently, Trengo supports Telegram integration (which is great), but group chats are not implemented, yet. (Not possible to send messages to the customer's group).
Considering our previous experience with another customer support messaging soft, implementation of group chats is possible and doesn't require much time, as codes and instructions are available in Telegram technical documentation.

We sincerely hope that this can be implemented in the nearest future, as we expect API users grow, which may collapse current service quality due to restricted Trengo Telegram integration functionality.

I obligingly ask you to review this feature, as we are experiencing issues with our customers and forced to have group chats separately in Telegram and tet-a-tet in Trengo.
Please reconsider adding group telegram chats in Trengo to help us improve customers experience with us and upgrade the quality of the provided support.

At this moment Telegram is a feature that is not much used our requested by our customers. Therefore at this moment researching whether group chats can be supported is not yet scheduled on our roadmap for the near future.
If ever we notice the interest in Telegram and Telegram group chats increases, we will reconsider this decision, but at this moment we see more growth potential in other features.
