Send later function

It would be awesome if there was a button to send an e-mail later. Now you can press "Send" to send your message, but what if you can press "Send later" en enter a date / time when the message should be send? That way you can create an e-mail now, and send it later that evening, or maybe at the end of the week.

Why this can be handy? Well maybe you had to do something for someone and you are finished early, but you don't want to send that your ready. Because the next time the expection will be that it is done within 24 hours. When you can create your mail but can queue it for Trengo to send it two days later all expectations stay where you want them, and you can let it go.

    Hi Eduard, thanks for sharing! Anyone who wants to send an email via Trengo has three options: send immediately, send and close or send later. These options are accessible via the arrow to the right of the green send button.

      Aga Wenska That's strange, I don't get that option. I only see this Verstuur (Send) and Verstuur en sluit (Send and close). I don't get the "Send later" option.

      And the help center article your sending me too is just bringing me to the frontpage of the help center

      Eduard Thanks for replying, the reply from Aga was indeed a few months ago, so she's referring to the old Help Center. In the new Help Center the new article will appear soon. 

       

      Can you tell me the steps you are doing to send an email and when you don't see this option?

      Tamara Berner Well after I wrote an e-mail or reply I press the arrow part of the send button so the menu pops out and only see Verstuur (Send) and Verstuur en sluit (Send and close).

  • Nick Dijkstra Eduard I am still searchin into when this doens't show up. I know the send later button is not a feature when replying to an email, but that is because the actual ticket is already created and the "draft" will automatically be stored in your assigned folder, so that's why there is no send later feature there. I am not sure where you are looking elsewhere but I'm curious to learn.

      Tamara Berner I'm always replying to an email, I usually don't start tickets everything is inbound. So your saying that a reply cannot be send later. It would be amazing if this could be made possible. Sometimes I have the time to write a reply, but don't want to send it yet because it would be to quick which has an effect on future expectations. I want to be able to write a reply and send it the next day, or after 2 days or so ...

    • Tamara Berner Eduard Same for me. Sometimes I work in the evening but I don't want to have the email sent the next day due to expectations. It would be nice if you can set a date/time so Trengo will automatically send the reply at that moment.
