Tags for help center articles

Our organization is using the help center API to display articles inside our app. Sometimes, we need to display a set of hand-picked articles on a specific page. For instance, the checkout page should display 5 specific articles related to this topic. 

As a developer, I would like to be able to add tags to articles, and then retrieve these articles by using a "tag" filter on the API.

    Thank you for your question. 

    Since the help center is hosted on a subdomain, it wouldn't be possible to display certain articles on certain pages on your website. Perhaps you could use the website widget and widget automations to trigger certain help center articles on specific pages. Please see this article for more information.

    • Daniela Backman Thank you for your answer. We are already able to display the help center in our website (via a proxy server), so the subdomain is not an issue at all.

      Our request here is around with the notion of "tag" that is missing from help center articles.

      What we need is:

      1. The ability to add "tags" to help center articles
      2. The ability to filter help center articles by tags in the Trengo API

      Does that make sense? :)
