Not sure, but for me this works. I simply edited a hyperlink (plain URL) and I can click on it, a new window will be opened.

It does show the entire link (unfortunately) it would be better to use a hyperlink markup to keep things clean.

Nick Thanks, I understand! I would like to have the possibility to add the hyperlink without showing the entire url. Indeed to keep things clean and as short as possible. I am using it in the flowbot and I don't want to add too much information, as people don't like to read ;)

Same here. Clean title, with hyperlink. Anyone knows how to avoid it opens a new window? Feel like a bug, because after when it opens a new windos, the flowbot is starting again from 0. After directing to a certain page in SELF, customers should then be able to start a live chat in stead of flowbot.

Thank you all for your feedback. Hyperlinks in the flowbot is definitely something we want to have as a feature in the near future!
For now, I recommend you to use a url shortener such as https://bitly.com/ if you have extra long links.
W B That does indeed sound like a bug, the flowbot shouldn't start from 0 after a user clicks on a link. Could you report this to our product support team team@trengo.com for further research?
You do however want the link to open a new window so that the customer doesn't get redirected away from the chat.

Daniela Backman I've found a work around, with a tip from Danique. Created a label 'flowbot conversation'. Then created a rule: show flowbot only when it not has the label. When the flowbot starts, assigns to label 'Flowbot conversation'. So next time when the customers replies on something, or when a new window is opened after clicking the link, at least the customer is not been bothered again with the same flowbot. Collected all the details, narrowed down to specific page for the customer. From then on, ticket is assigned and they talk directly to us for rest of the questions.
The only thing is now, trying to figure out, if after 1 time flowbot, collected details, flowbot stops, I want to assign to the chatbot. So he can catch the rest of the questions the customer still has. If then no answer, then assign to a team.
But creating a rule as action, start chatbot again, is not available. Anyone knows how to do this?
To start in SELF window, should be possible. Then the chat opens where it was left last time, just before the hyperlink click. Competitor(s) can do the same. -

Thanks for the reply and great that you found a work around with one of our Product Support Specialists that works for you :) Concerning your question about starting a chatbot based on a rule, this is currently not possible.
