Yes this would be great. That way we can notify our users of new and updated articles from within our own software. At this moment this is all done by hand which is a lot of work.
We now have our Help Center API accessible.

Tamara Berner It's great I can now use an API to integrate the help center more in our own software. We use a password protected help center. And while the widget cannot use our help center for some reason I discovered the API does work with an password protected help center.
Why does it work with the API but not with the widget. Because it would be soooo awesome to just integrate the help center widget in our own software so customers can find help. And it would safe me a lot of work, because I have to develop my own widget now which uses the API to make it easier for customers to find articles. While all the work is actually done by Trengo in the widget ... with exception of people who have a password protected help center 😏
Tamara Berner How do I list all articles from a section? I can only choose a helpcenter ID and a search term. But no categoryID or sectionID?
Eduard We have updated our API documentation with several more specifications. At this moment the section ID or category ID have not been added to the list of all articles reference. But you are free to use the other references to work with this. I can see if I can find some extra information on this if requested.
Tamara Berner If I cannot list articles from a certain section ID or category ID is is of no use. I want to be able to list all articles from the section "Changelog". Or perhaps list all heading within an article. Or create a list of recently updated articles. etcetera.
All these things cannot be done with the current API. I can create a workaround by having a cache of all articles and information in my own database and having a cron updating the lists. But then the whole usefulness of an api is gone :-)

When will the Trengo help center API be updated with more possibilities? Like the option to use the section ID or category ID to be added to the list of all articles references? That way a certain section or category can be shown in our own software which will be great.

Charlotte Beenen I hope so, at this moment the Help Center is kind a useable but not really. This has to do with incomplete API endpoint and the lack of Single Sign On.
