Recognize part of input with the locationfinder

We don't use the prefilled option with location finder because of the big amount of locations. So the customer needs to type his location. In example: Doorn or 's-Heerenberg. I've added these keys to the location finder, but we now had the trouble that a customer typed 'Doorn.' and it won't be recognized because of the dot in the end. The same for 's-Heerenberg. When customer types "s-heerenberg" or "s heerenberg", it will not be recognized. I would thought the system would be intelligent enough to recognize it and correct misspells. Or that, if I add keyword 'heerenberg', it would recognize all the other notations too.

  • We are currently working on improving the location finder and making it easier to recognize locations that have special signs, or when a . is used.
