Facebook Messenger working within the page (Do not open a new page)
When Customer chooses "Facebook Messenger" from the Trengo Website Widget, he should remain in the page and not be redirected to a new page with the chat.
Hi! We really would love to use Trengo as an aggregator for our communication channels, we really like the interface (it's one of the best out there), however we have a major issue with it.
Our request is, when the user chooses Facebook Messenger from the Trengo Website Widget, he should not have to be redirected to a new / separate page (as this defeats part of the purpose of the live chat), but instead be able to continue the conversation in messenger from the same page where he was.
The biggest issue with this is that the our main channel of communication (and the preferred by our customers) is Facebook Messenger. We still would love to be able to use Trengo chat as it provides us with a great interface for aggregation and customer support, but we are also already using and fully configured third party messenger chatbots that use facebook messenger (another main reason that locks us using messenger as the main channel instead of the Trengo direct website chat).
The possibiliites/aternatives I see would be:
- Somehow embed the facebook messenger widget within the Trengo Website widged
- Automatically close Trengo Website Widget and open the default Facebook Messenger widget
