Hyperlinks in translations

It would be very handy to be able to add hyperlinks to the texts in the 'translations' section of the website widget, for example to refer customers to a FAQ page.

  • Thanks for sharing becks! I understand that you would like to share the link to your FAQ page via de website widget. A way to do that is to create a Help Center and to add it to your widget. You could also build a Chatbot that would provide those url's automatically. If you need any help with it do not hesitate to reach out to our support!

      Aga Wenska Hi Aga, thanks for your reply. I'll have a look at the help center option, but actually I just want to provide a link in the chat widget to our existing FAQ. I now used the autoreply function, as I cán use hyperlinks there. The downside is that the autoreply applies to the entire channel, not to individual widgets. Since we have a Dutch and an English widget for our channel I had to put both Dutch and English text in the autoreply, which is less than ideal.

  • Hi Charlotte BeenenAga Wenska, it's been almost a year since I posted this request, is there any news regarding this? We would still very much like to be able to provide hyperlinks in our messages, especially our welcome message. Thanks in advance!

    • Hi becks this feature request has not yet been give priority to be planned in our development timeline. We will let you know here when we are able to give you a better estimate of when it might be developed.
