Know if chat message has been read

Seeing if the user has viewed a message you've sent helps know how and when best to respond/Close a ticket

  • Thanks for sharing, Mark! Sounds like a useful feature. We are looking into some new features for the Website chat, such as making it more clear when an offline chat is sent as an email and the ability to ask for a review / customer satisfaction tool at the end of the chat, also helping to create more clearance in whether a message has been seen/read, but your wish is definitely noted. I'll keep track of this topic and keep you up to date if there's any news!

  • Perhaps not only if the message has been read, but also the status: Send, Delivered (to mailserver), Bounced and Seen.

  • This is a great feature that will fit our product, but will not be implemented in the short run. In the future we will ook into this feature and its implementability.
